Dear Bucknell Football Community,

Ever since I can remember, I wanted to play football at the Division I level. The opportunity to play here at Bucknell has truly been a dream come true. Not only do I get to compete at the Division I level but I also get to receive one of the top educations in the country. Getting to represent Bucknell every day is everything I could have ever asked for as a young kid.

As I continue through my senior season, I can reflect on the growth that has taken place throughout my college career. Bucknell has provided me with all of the resources needed to succeed on and off the field. The football team and the entirety of Bucknell Athletics have provided me with a support system that made my transition to college much easier.Â

When I first stepped on campus during my junior year of high school, I knew this was where I wanted to be. When I walked around campus, I fell in love with not only the beautiful campus but also the individuals who wanted to be the best in everything that they did. The amount of love and care shown at Bucknell was different from anywhere else I had been. The athletic department and the football team, in particular, created this positive experience.

When I arrived at Bucknell I was immediately welcomed with around 100 new brothers and friends through the football team. The football program here is a blessing that I couldn’t be more thankful for. Not only do I have lifelong connections with hard-working driven guys who are going to do big things in the world, but I am mentored daily by a coaching staff that only wants the best for us. Of course, we spend a lot of time talking about football but they also take the time to teach us right from wrong and how to be a successful human being. Words cannot express how much this program and the entire Bucknell Athletic Department mean to me.

My positive experience at Bucknell has been a direct result of those who support the program. When people ask me where I go to college, I cannot help but have the biggest smile because I am so proud to be a student-athlete at Bucknell. If not for this opportunity, I cannot imagine where I would be today. On behalf of my coaches, teammates, and Bucknell Athletics, I would like to thank you for your support because none of this would be possible without you.
