2020-21 (Senior): Went 2-3 with one pin and one major decision while wrestling at 157 pounds ... all but one bout came during Bucknell's season-opening tournament against LIU and VMI ... victory by fall came over Adam Barker (LIU).
2019-20 (Junior): Did not compete.
2018-19 (Sophomore): Posted a 9-12 record with three pins while wrestling exclusively at tournaments in the 165-pound weight class ... took third with a 4-1 record at the "Shorty" Hitchcock Memorial Classic (Jan. 12) ... won twice in a row by first-period fall at the Lock Haven Classic (Dec. 29) ... scored a 4-2 win over Lock Haven's Larry Brown in sudden victory at the F&M Open (Jan. 5).
2017-18 (Freshman): Went 9-8 while wrestling exclusively at tournaments at 157 and 165 pounds ... placed second in the 165-pound weight class at the Mat-Town Open (Nov. 26) and fourth in the 157-pound weight class at the Lock Haven Classic (Dec. 29) ... recorded three victories by fall and three by major decision ... pinned Sacred Heart's Matt Fallon in first career bout.
Before Bucknell: Four-year letterwinner and starter and three-year captain at Mount Carmel High School … 135-59 career record … placed third in the state in Illinois in 2016 and sixth in 2017 … two-time regional champion … one-time sectional champion … four-time Chicago Catholic League placewinner … two-time qualifier for the Fargo National Championships … led team to three Chicago Catholic League titles, four regional titles, and one section title … team placed third in the state in 2016 … also lettered in tennis.
Personal: son of Brad and Megan Mulay … one younger brother, Andrew … majors were international relations and Spanish.
