Patriot League Partners with The Field of 68 for Basketball Media Day on Oct. 5

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League has partnered with The Field of 68 for the first time to stream its men's and women's basketball Media Day on Monday, Oct. 5. The Patriot League Men's and Women's Basketball Media Day will be available on The Field of 68's YouTube page or by following @TheFieldOf68 on X.
The men's media day will stream live from 9 a.m. until 11:35 a.m., while the women's media day will follow from 12:10 p.m. until 2:40 p.m. Patriot League Commissioner Jennifer Heppel and Army West Point legend Kelsey Minato will also be interviewed during the event. Specific interview times with Bucknell coaches Trevor Woodruff and John Griffin will be announced soon.
The Patriot League men's basketball media day will be hosted by Jeff Goodman and Rob Dauster, the veteran national college basketball writers and founders of The Field of 68. The duo will preview the 2026-27 Patriot League men's basketball season and speak with all 10 men's basketball head coaches.
The Patriot League's women's basketball media day begins at 12:10 p.m. Talia Goodman, who covers women's basketball for On3 and Rivals, and Paige Messier, the Patriot League's multimedia journalist, will drive the women's media day coverage. Goodman and Messier will interview the League's 10 head coaches and preview the upcoming season.
The 2026-27 college basketball season tips off on Monday, Nov. 2, with all Patriot League men's and women's basketball home games available on ESPN+, with select games televised on CBS Sports Network. The Patriot League season begins with a full slate of men's and women's games on Wednesday, Dec. 30, with the women's regular season concluding on Friday, Feb. 26, and the men's regular season ending on Saturday, Feb. 27.

The 2026-27 Patriot League Women's Basketball Championship opens with first round action on Monday, March 1, with games hosted by the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds. The top four seeds will host the quarterfinal round on March 3, with the highest-remaining seeds hosting the semifinals. The 2026-27 Patriot League Women's Basketball Championship Game will be hosted by the highest-remaining seed on Tuesday, March 9.
