Hoar Named Patriot League Pitcher of the Week After Quality Start in Bucknell's First Win of 2026

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Brady Hoar's excellent start on the mound in game three of the Bucknell baseball's team's series at Radford earned the freshman the Patriot League Pitcher of the Week honor.
Hoar gave the Bison a quality start as the Bison won 4-1 to grab their first win of the season. In just his second career start, Hoar allowed one unearned run on just one hit over six innings of work. He surrendered just one walk and struck out three batters.
Bucknell is back in action for a midweek game against Pitt on Wednesday at 3 p.m. before the Bison play their home-opener against Merrimack at Depew Field at Marren Park on Friday at 2 p.m.
