Inclement Weather Halts Women's Tennis Spring Season Opener

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The opening weekend of the spring season for Bucknell women's tennis has been cancelled due to inclement weather creating unsafe conditions and therefore preventing travel.
The Bison were scheduled to play two dual matches to kick off their season. Bucknell was facing Youngstown State on Saturday, Jan. 24 and IUP on Sunday, Jan. 25.
Bucknell's new spring season opening weekend will now take place on Friday, Jan. 30 when the Bison travel to Philadelphia to take on Saint Joseph's and Saturday, Jan. 31, when they host Mount St. Mary's in Williamsport.
