
Women’s Tennis Lands Nine on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Bucknell women's tennis team placed nine of their 10 student-athletes on the 2024-25 Patriot League Winter-Spring Academic Honor Roll, the league announced on Thursday.
The squad combined for a Bucknell Athletics-high 3.77 GPA with all nine of the Honor Roll members also making Bucknell's Dean's List with a GPA of at least 3.50. Across the spring term, five Bison women's tennis players recorded perfect 4.0 GPAs: freshman Cameron King (Undeclared Management), senior Whitney King (Markets, Innovation & Design), senior Anna Lajos (International Relations), senior Caroline Marcus (Markets, Innovation & Design) and junior Abby Platt (Business Analytics).
Along with a perfect 4.0 GPA, Whitney King was also named the Patriot League's Women Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the 2024-25 season.
Patriot League student-athletes are selected to the academic honor roll for achieving a 3.2 grade-point average (GPA) or better during the semester in which their league champion is crowned. Bucknell has placed 341 total student-athletes on the 2024-25 Patriot League Winter-Spring Academic Honor Roll.
