6/17/2025 2:23:00 PM | Men's Swimming and Diving, Women's Swimming and Diving
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell head swimming and diving coach Dan Schinnerer has announced the addition of 16 newcomers – 11 women and five men – to the 2025-26 team. The incoming class hails from nine different states and covers a wide range of events. Two of the recruits – Tessa Feld and Keira Giles – are the younger sisters of Bison swimmers Rylie Giles '25 and Emma Feld '26.
The women's class consists of Feld, Giles, Emma Briganti, Victoria Castro-Gutierrez, Kennedy DeVeaux, Natalia Gajecki, Joslin Halsey, Hanna Klingensmith, Dea Mielenz, Ruby Olliffe, and Alivia Wainwright. They will join a Bison squad that finished third at the Patriot League Championships and captured its first-ever ECAC Championships title in 2025.
"We are very excited to have this group join the Bucknell Swimming and Diving family," said Schinnerer. "Coming off a season of good growth and progress in our team, we believe these young women will help us continue to improve. It is a large class for us, and they will provide both depth and 'frontline' talent. We know the class has the potential to make an immediate impact."
The five members of the men's class are Drew Davis, Jackson Hagler, Evan Hepburn, Jason Kellerman, and Finn Lukens. They will join a men's team that is coming off solid fourth-place finishes at both the Patriot League Championships and ECAC Championships.
"We look forward to welcoming this group of young men to the Bucknell Swimming and Diving family," said Schinnerer. "Our team has some large shoes to fill in the recent graduating class, which included four school record holders, but we believe this group will help our team continue to develop and improve. There is some outstanding potential among the five, and we know they will have an immediate impact on our team's success."
Let's meet the 16 first-year members of the Bison swimming and diving program.
