
Women's Track & Field Unlocks Two Wins and Top Ten Placements at Penn Classic

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison women's track & field team celebrated its first outing in Penn's Ott Center with two victories and a plethora of top ten finishes. The Orange & Blue also added another athlete to its top ten list in the 800-meter run.Â

Katie Moncavage set a personal record and moved into a tie for eighth all-time in Bucknell history for the 800-meter run with her fifth-place time of 2:13.17.
Justley Sharp won the shot put with a heave of 14.79m (48-6.25).Â
Christine Ajao kept the banner day going for the throws group by conquering the weight throw with a placement of 55-10.50.Â
Caryn Rippey grabbed third place in the 3000-meter run with a time of 9:56.65.
Alexandra Lea finished fourth in the 400-meter dash with a personal best speed of 57.18.
The Bucknell "A" Team of Alexa Goll, Madeline Sipe, Anna Posh, and Lea combined forces for a fifth-place speed of 4:01.43 in the 4x400-meter relay.Â
Karly Renn cleared a season-best 12 feet in the pole vault for fifth place.
Lilian Malone earned sixth in the 500-meter dash notching a time of 1:22.31.
Madeline Lehker cleared 4-11.50 in the high jump for sixth place.Â
Noelani Sadler placed eighth in the 60-meter hurdles recording a time of 8.93.Â
Laura Posh finished ninth in the 1000-meter run with a time of 3:03.02.Â
Madison Libby placed tenth in the long jump with her leap of 17-5.50.Â
Megan Baggetta grabbed tenth in the triple jump with a mark of 37-1.75.Â
