Platt Falls in Quarterfinal Round of Patriot League ITA Qualifiers

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Abby Platt fell in her quarterfinal match at the Patriot League qualifier for the ITA Conference Masters Championships on Saturday.
Platt faced Ellie Gyuro of Boston University in her quarterfinal match, but fell in two straight 6-2 sets.
While the Bison women's tennis team is officially out of the qualifiers, the men's team is still intact with both their singles and doubles playing today.
This weekend's singles and doubles champions will go on to represent the Patriot League at the ITA Conference Masters next month. That tournament serves as a qualifier for the NCAA Championships later in the fall.
