
Women's Tennis Defeats Millersville 5-2

MILLERSVILLE, PA — Bucknell women's tennis defeated Millersville 5-2 in its dual match on Saturday afternoon. The Bison went 3-0 in doubles and 4-2 in singles play.
Natalie Devraj led the team with both a doubles and singles win. Devraj won her singles match over Barreto in two straight 6-0 sets. She also won her doubles match alongside Cameron King 6-2.
The other two doubles matches were also decisive victories for the Bison as Abby Platt and Riley Jennings won 6-0 and Mirra Manolov alongside Jaycie Mair won 6-1.
Alongside Devraj, Tori Allen, Mariana Shulman and Summer Even-Esh also won their singles matches. Allen defeated L.Hayes 6-4, 6-1, Even-Esh won her match in two straight 6-3 sets and Shulman defeated Rojas 6-2, 6-0.
Kate Purpura and Cameron King dropped their singles matches.
The Bison will return to the courts for the Patriot League ITA Conference Masters Qualifiers, which will take place from Friday, Oct. 24 through Sunday, Oct. 26.
