Bucknell Men’s Basketball to Hold Orange vs. Blue Scrimmage Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell hoops fans are invited to come get an early glimpse of the Bison, as head coach John Griffin III will hold an Orange vs. Blue scrimmage this Saturday, Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Sojka Pavilion. The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 5 p.m.
Free schedule posters will be given out at the door, and the team will hold an autograph session following the one-hour scrimmage.
The Bison will feature five newcomers – three freshmen and two transfers – along with 10 lettermen who return from last year's squad that captured a share of the Patriot League regular-season title. The intrasquad scrimmage will help prep the team for its preseason exhibition game at Louisville on Oct. 28, and then the season officially gets underway on Nov. 3 when the Bison host Delaware.
Fans are also reminded to join the team for the annual Backcourt Club Tip-Off Reception, which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. at Brendan's Towne Tavern on Market Street in Lewisburg.
Season and single-game tickets are currently on sale for all Bison men's and women's home games. Once again this season, tickets will be on sale via the Bucknell Hoops ticketing site and the Bison Basketball app, powered by Jump.
