Men's Track & Field Obtains Solid Results at Two Competitions

LEWISBURG & UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- The Bucknell men's track & field program split its squad between the Bison Open & Multi and Penn State National Open and achieved several notable results along with an addition for the Orange & Blue's top ten lists.Â

Gabriel Pecaitis had a banner night in the pole vault. He won the event with a clearance of 15-9 - a mark that ranks tied for sixth in Bucknell history with six other Bison.Â
Luke Petryna displayed strong speed finishing first in the 200-meter dash. His time of 22.41 is a new personal record. He won the event by 0.01 seconds.Â
The distance medley relay team of Ethan Pratt-Perez (1200), Petryna (400), Jackson DiRoma (800), and David Carillo (1600) finished second. The quartet worked together for a 10:26.55 time. It ranks 48th in the Division I 2024-25 season.Â

Mason Siebenhaar notched a top ten placement in the 5000-meter run. The distance runner registered a time of 14:57.73 to finish eighth.Â
Wade Shomper placed 13th in the weight throw. The junior tossed the instrument 53-0.25 feet.Â
