Men's Track & Field Journeys to IC4A Championships

Last Time Out (Patriot League Outdoor Championships)

Bucknell placed fourth with 63.5 points at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships. The Orange & Blue earned a bronze medal on the second day.
Amani Brown, Preston Lubeski, Brayden Young, and Brandon Foust clinched bronze and six points in the 4x100-meter relay. Their time of 41.88 beat the fourth-place finisher by 0.06 seconds.
Bucknell scored 8.5 points in the high jump. Jeffrey Cianfrocca had the best finish, placing fourth. His jump of 6-6 ¾ netted five points. Bernard Kemp finished sixth, winning three points on a jump of 6-2 ¾. Tristan An slotted tied for eighth. His leap of 6-0 ¾ earned 0.5 points.
Dariel Guzman completed his Bucknell career with a fourth-place finish in the discus throw. The senior's toss of 155-5 notched five points and came in his final attempt.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Brown, Kemp, Colby Belczyk, and Foust finished fourth. Their time of 3:17.56 scored five points and was only 0.02 seconds away from bronze.
The Bison scored seven points in the shot put. Wade Shomper led the way throwing 55-1 ½ for fifth place and four points. Braden Stryker finished sixth by tying his best mark 54-10 ¾. His result tallied three points.

Up Next

Unless a qualifiying result occurs, the Bison men will rest up and wait for the 2024-25 season to start in December.
