Men’s Golf T-7th After Second Round of Patriot League Championship

RESULTS
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman Hayden Quinn shot a team-best 74 and sophomore Andres Barraza maintained his top-10 positioning with a 76, leading the Bucknell men's golf team in round two of the Patriot League Championship at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Bison posted a 303 team score for the second straight day and are tied for seventh place with one more round coming on Sunday.
Round-one leader Army shot 315 on Saturday and dropped all the way into a tie for seventh with Bucknell at 606 total. Loyola posted a 4-over-par 292 in round two and jumped into the top spot by nine strokes over second-place Navy.
Back-to-back birdies at holes 7 and 8 highlighted Quinn's day. He moved up into a tie for 16th on the individual leaderboard. Barraza carded a 76 and is now T-9th at 5-over for the tournament. Michael Rudnick also shot 76, and the Bison also counted a 77 from Alex Creamean.
Loyola's Carlo Pizzano fired a 1-under 71 on Saturday and is now even for the tournament, good for a one-shot lead over teammate James Rico, Holy Cross' Nolan Schuermann, and Navy's Jack Tarzy.
Bucknell will pair up with Army for the final round on Sunday, with tee times starting at 9 a.m.
