Bliss built upon her first-place showing at the USATF U20 Championships with a new personal record toss of 173-0 (52.73m) to nab silver. Her mark, if tossed in a Bucknell uniform, would rank second in Bison history.Â
"I'm sure the experience wasn't exactly what Evie was expecting," said Assistant Coach of Throws Ryan Protzman. "She adjusted well and had a strong throw to put her in 2nd in Round 3. Then in Round 6, she hit her new PR of 52.73m (173') for a silver medal in her first international competition. What a way to wrap up her high school career. So excited to get to work in Lewisburg!"Â
Bliss and the Bison track & field team will return to action this winter for the indoor season.Â
