Women’s Golf in Midst of Solid Day when Play Suspended at Patriot League Championship

RESULTS
MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Five Bison were within four strokes of par when second-round play was suspended due to thunderstorms on Saturday at the Patriot League Championship at Independence Golf Course. Bucknell remained in fifth place and will have a few holes to finish on Sunday morning prior to the start of the third and final round.
Three Bucknell players were able to complete their second rounds. Cristina Canales and Tatum McKelvey both shot 75, and Tara Thomas posted an 83.
Paige Richter, coming off a first-round 73, made back-to-back birdies at 12 and 13 and is once again 1-over-par in the round with three holes left to finish. Richter currently sits in seventh place, four shots behind Boston University's Alice Fan, who was 6-under on her round through 12 holes when play was stopped.
Morgan Sohosky just birdied the 15th hole and is 3-over on the day with three holes still to play. Viveka Kurup is 4-over on her second round and also has three holes to go.
Richmond still has the team lead at 5-over for the tournament. The Spiders have an 11-shot advantage on Boston University, which moved up to second place.
Play will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
