Men's Track & Field Completes Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison men's track & field team completed the Bison Outdoor Classic with several notable results.
"Everything about this meet was good," said head coach Kevin Donner. "The competition was outstanding and our athletes competed well for the most part. It was a great showcase for our program and we had plenty of alumni and high school juniors who got to experience this great event. IÂ thought our men's team was solid."
Robert Feeney finished second in the hammer throw tossing the instrument for a distance of 189-8. His throw landed sixth all-time in Bucknell theory.
Ethan Wolford-Tuffy improved his ninth all-time in Bucknell history mark in the 400-meter dash by racing for a time of 48.15. The speed placed him seventh at the event
The high jump witnessed Tristan An place sixth on a mark of 6-6. He narrowly missed inclusion in the Bucknell record books.
The Bison placed two teams in the top-10 of the 4x400-meter relay. The "B" foursome of Sam Coughlin, Matthew Perello, Franco Perinotti, and Brayden Young seized eighth place on a time of 3:18.44. The "A" quartet of Zachary Jelinek, Colby Belczyk, Alex Simpson, and Seth Hoffritz finished behind them in ninth on a mark of 3:19.48.
Chris Sims finished tenth in the triple jump with a leap of 45-10.
Three stadium records were broken by non-Bucknell athletes: the 100-meter run by Jae'Len Means (10:35), 400-meter hurdles by Samuel Hartman (52.00), and the 800-meter run by Evan Dorenkamp (1:48.47).
