Lalonde, O'Sullivan, Quinn Set School Records as Women's Track & Field Finishes Fourth at Patriot League Championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md.- Bridget Lalonde, Siobhan O'Sullivan, and Meghan Quinn set school records on the final day of the Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Championships to power the women's team to a fourth-place finish. The women's squad scored 78.25 points to win the fourth slot.Â

"We had a very good day two as we either matched or exceeded our expectations for each event that we had people in," said head coach Kevin Donner. "To earn three school records is outstanding, and all of our women put their hearts into this meet."
Quinn obliterated the previous 200 Meter Dash record of 24.37 with her time of 24.23. The mark granted Quinn second place at the meet, earned her ECAC qualification, and gave the Bison eight points. The sprinter continued her remarkable career success at the Championships with a second-place finish in the 60 Meter Dash. The junior runner raced to a time of 7.56, now second in Bucknell history. Her feat earned the team eight points and Quinn a spot in the ECAC.Â
O'Sullivan's heave of 49-10 in the Shot Put smashed the previous record of 48-6 set in 2020. The throw granted O'Sullivan second place at the event, eight points for Bucknell, and an ECAC qualification. Christine Ajao scored a point for Bucknell in the same event. Her toss of 41-4 1/2 gave her eighth place.Â
Bridget Lalonde continued her remarkable 2022-23 indoor season by tying the school record in the 400 Meter Dash. The senior runner capped her indoor career by running 55.33 for a fourth-place finish. She clinched four points for the Bison and an ECAC bid for herself.Â
Lalonde and Quinn had more success beyond individual events. They teamed up with Katherine Loew and Jessie Castellano to take home third place, an ECAC spot, and six points in the 4x400 Meter Relay. The quartet raced to a time of 3:44.99 for a third-place finish in the Bucknell record book.Â
The rewriting of record books continued with jumper Lexi Gray. The senior leaped to a mark of 38-11 1/2 to grab fourth place, five points for the cause, and seventh in Bucknell history.Â
Lea Bourgeois collected 3365 points in the Pentathlon to finish fifth. The placement earned four points for Bucknell and an eighth-place spot in the Bucknell record book for Bourgeois.Â
Karen Hull played a pivotal role in Bucknell's fourth-place standing by collecting 11 points. She finished fourth in the 60 Meter Hurdles on a time of 8.75 to grab five points and ECAC certification. Her leap of 5-7 in the High Jump netted six points.Â
Abby Kates also scored in the High Jump. Her placement of 5-5 unlocked 3.5 points for the Orange & Blue.Â
There were two final scorers for the Bison. Abby Paczewski won three points, ECAC participation, and sixth place in the Mile Run by racing to a time of 4:58.37. The Distance Medley quartet of Mariana Engleby, Alison Cooke, Mackenzie Turner, and Ally Clarke finished fourth. Their time of 11:55.88 produced five points and ECAC qualification.Â
