Patriot League Championship Major Awards
All-Patriot League status will be determined by the event finishes at the 2023 Patriot League Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship, with first-place winners earning first-team All-League honors. The runner-up in each event will earn second-team honors.
Â
Following the conclusion of the meet, the League head coaches will vote on several individual major awards. A men's and women's track athlete, field athlete, and rookie of the meet will be selected. Men's and women's coach of the year awards will also be selected. The Patriot League will also present awards to the men's and women's highest scorers of the meet.
"This might be the most competitive I have seen the Patriot League in the past 21 years, and both teams are very excited to compete," said head coach Kevin Donner. "Both the men's and women's meets look fairly identical on paper, with Navy being a heavy favorite on both sides. Army and Boston have very good men's and women's programs and appear to be the dark horses. Lehigh looks solid. Our athletes are very excited and hope to mix it up with these programs. The meet is a war of attrition as certain athletes are going to the well and doing multiple events."
