LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison women's track and field team hosts the Bucknell Tune-Up this Friday in preparation for the Patriot League Championships the following weekend.
This will be a Pride Meet, presented by the Bison track & field teams and sponsored by Bucknell's Athlete Ally Chapter. The Bucknell track & field program celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community and stands firmly against any discrimination or violence toward this community. Our Bison Community is an inclusive environment for all, regardless of sexual orientation, race or ethnicity, gender identity, disability, or religion. Information tables will be located in the lobby of Gerhard Fieldhouse, and the program hopes you can take part in a special night where we celebrate love and acceptance for all.

What: Bucknell Tune-Up
Where: Gerhard Fieldhouse-Lewisburg, Pa.
When: Friday, Feb. 17, 2023
Participating teams: Bloomsburg, Bucknell, Lafayette, Lehigh, Shippensburg, Susquehanna University, Pittsburgh
"We have a few different missions for our team as we approach the Bucknell Tune-Up," said head coach Kevin Donner. "Obviously, with the league championships being a week away, we need to take a more conservative approach; so our top people stay healthy. Many top people will not compete this weekend: so we can rest up for leagues. Others may do a secondary event instead of their primary event for a tuneup, and others are still trying to make the league lineup and need to prove themselves. This is a good meet for our developmental athletes to gain more experience to put them in a position to improve and be ready for the outdoor season and next year."
Last Time Out (Big Apple Invitational)
