Donner's Debriefing
"Although we were projected to be fourth and finished as such, third was definitely attainable," said head coach Kevin Donner. "A couple of our top people struggled a bit but several others stepped up nicely to secure our spot. Now we have to get back on the horse to be ready for regionals where we want to get back in the top 10."Â
Recap
Abby Paczewski, in a year, went from 32nd place to eighth at the PL Championships. Her time of 22:31.5 was only two seconds away from nabbing her First Team honors. Paczewski was the only non-Army, Boston, or Navy runner to finish in the top 10.Â
Junior Lauren Trapani finished 15th to become the only other non-Army, Boston, or Navy runner to finish in the top 15. Trapani's time of 22:49.1 provided crucial points for the Bison war effort.Â
