LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Bucknell Bison women's track & field team finished the Bison Open with several gold medal moments.Â
Results
"Overall, it was a very successful weekend, and we accomplished many of our missions and goals," said head coach Kevin Donner. "Some people needed to rest this weekend, and others needed to compete. Some people are trying to prove themselves for future travel squads, and others could compete in secondary events to set themselves up for next week. Lots of questions were answered, as we are now less than a month out from the league championships."
Track Events
The 400m Dash witnessed Katherine Loew picking up her first individual collegiate victory with her time of 58.80.Â
The Bison swept the top-three slots in the 500m Run with Colleen Linko; as the first-place finisher with a time of 1:20.24.
Hollie Walters brought home the gold in the 3000m Run thanks to her time of 10:31.88.Â
Bucknell's "A" Team of Ella Boback, Mikayla Horvath, Maddy Hippensteal, and Katherine Loew for the 4x400 Relay earned silver and narrowly missed first place by 0.18 seconds.Â
