Women's Tennis Lands Seven on PL Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Bucknell women's tennis team placed seven student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Monday. It's the second straight year the Bison have posted as many honorees.
To qualify for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.20 GPA during the semester in which their team competed. This marks the fifth-consecutive academic year the League has topped 3,000 honor roll selections. Bucknell recorded a League-high 460 student-athletes on the academic honor roll in 2021-22, including 311 during the winter-spring season.
The women's tennis program achieved a 3.24 GPA during the spring semester, and six members of the roster qualified for Dean's List status with a 3.5 or higher. Additionally, rookie Caroline Marcus was one of 12 Patriot League women's tennis players to post a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Senior Daniela Bellini, who was voted an Academic All-Patriot League Team member over her final two years at Bucknell, was named to the honor roll for a fourth time in her career.
