About Bucknell
• Bucknell men's track & field is gearing up to host its second outdoor meet of the season. After putting on a successful Bison Outdoor Classic last weekend, the Bison are hosting the 2022 Bucknell Team Challenge on Saturday, April 23. Bucknell is also hosting Senior Day on Saturday, and the team will be celebrating the careers of 13 graduating athletes.
• Bucknell's Quinn McCutcheon collected a win in the mile at the Bison Outdoor Classic, running a 4:24.83, and several others posted strong finishes at the meet that saw more than 100 schools compete.
• Also impressing over the weekend was Anthony Zamarra in the shot put. The sophomore posted a 54-9.25 to finish seventh and land second on Bucknell's all-time top 10 list.
• Aiden Brewer collected two wins in decathlon events last weekend, taking first in the 400 with a personal-best 50.47 and first in the 1500 with a 4:26.53 He ended up 11th in the decathlon overall with 5,349 points.
• Rayven Sample ran a solid 49.38 in the 400, placing 12th out of 86, and he was also part of Bucknell's fourth-place 4x400. The relay team (Sample, Thomas Matsumura, Alex Simpson, Colby Belczyk) ran a 3:21.44.
• Other notable performances included Belczyk in the 800, who finished 22nd out of 186 runners with a 1:52.34, John Calisi, who threw a personal-best 176-10 in the hammer throw to place 11th, and Christian Cadmus, who ran a personal-best 8:56.20 in the 3000 to take 11th.

Bucknell sees its final weekend of competition before the 2022 Patriot League Track & Field Championships. Select Bison will make the trip to the Penn Relays on Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29. Others will attend the single-day Maroon & Gold Invite at Bloomsburg on Friday.
