
Men's Track & Field Wraps Up Indoor Season at IC4A Championships

BOSTON, Mass. – Bucknell men's track & field concluded the IC4A meet on Sunday, as Anthony Zamarra competed in the shot put for the team's only event on the final day. Zamarra placed 12th in the shot put with a 48-10.25.
Bucknell saw two athletes earn All-East honors over the weekend. Sophomore Robert Feeney grabbed an eighth-place finish in the weight throw with a 58-8 on Saturday, and junior Franco Perinotti was seventh in pole vault with a mark of 15-5.
Also notable from the championships were the efforts of rookies Colby Belczyk and Ben Santos. Belczyk ran the fourth-fastest 800 in school history (1:51.40) in a tough field and placed 15th overall. Santos was just outside a prestigious Bucknell top 10 time in the 5000, racing to a 14:28.62.
Looking ahead, the Bison begin their outdoor season on Saturday, March 26 with the Navy Invite in Annapolis, Md.
