Bri Frazilus Earns Fourth PL Volleyball Rookie of the Week Award

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell volleyball's Bri Frazilus was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for a fourth time this season on Tuesday following a pair of strong performances against rivals Lafayette and Lehigh over the weekend. The freshman totaled 34 kills and 10 digs during a 1-1 week for the Bison.
Frazilus' efforts in Friday's win at Lafayette were particularly notable as she registered 20 kills on 46 total attacks with seven errors for a .283 hitting percentage. It was the second time this season the Cary, N.C. native hit the 20-digs mark. She also added three block assists in the five-set victory over the Leopards.
On Saturday, Frazilus added 14 more kills on 42 attacks and was above a .200 hitting percentage once again. Frazilus finished the match one dig shy of her eighth double-double this fall. It was her 14th match with double-digit kills.
Frazilus currently ranks fourth in the Patriot League with 3.35 kills per set and has 238 total. After earning three of the first four PL Rookie of the Week honors this season, this was Frazilus' first award since Sept. 20.
Bucknell libero Jordan Hardy was an honorable mention for Patriot League Player of the Week after totaling 57 digs and 11 assists over the weekend. She matched her season high of 35 digs in the win over the Mountain Hawks.
