Grey Squad Comes Out on Top in Spirited 3v3 Tournament
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell Women's Basketball program hosted its annual alumni event prior to the game against Holy Cross last weekend. Six alumni laced up the sneakers and participated in a best-of-three 3v3 Tournament in Sojka Pavilion.
The Grey squad, consisting of Bucknell Hall of Famer Molly Creamer '03, former All-Patriot League player Kim Delfs Watkins '99, and Kristen Erb McKenna '01 won the event by capturing the rubber game by a 10-3 score. They began the event by winning the initial contest 10-6, behind six points from Delfs and a pair of buckets from Creamer. The team had balanced scoring during the day, as all three players finished with 10 points in the tournament.
The Blue team forced a deciding third game by winning game two, 10-8. Jennifer Winhofer Green '00 paced the team in that game with six points. Lyndsay Earhart Summers '00 and Leslie Blue Schultz '99 were the other members of the Blue squad.
