Women's Tennis Places Seven Student-Athletes on PL Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Bucknell women's tennis team landed seven student-athletes on the 2021 Spring Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Monday.
To qualify for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.20 GPA during the semester in which their team competed. The 2020-21 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll ranks second in League history with 3,736 honorees. Bucknell led all schools with 524 student-athletes on the academic honor roll.
The women's tennis program posted a combined 3.43 GPA during the spring semester, and all seven players to make the academic honor roll were above a 3.5. Additionally, senior Cayla Koch and rookie Kate Novak achieved perfect 4.0 GPAs. Senior Rachel Carroll earned a spot on the list for the fourth time in her career.
The women's tennis team was recognized last weej as a 2021 Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team, and six Bison were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
