One of the biggest days of the year for the Bucknell University Athletics & Recreation program is just one day away. On Wednesday, May 5, at 10 a.m., members of the Bison Nation will have the opportunity to begin to come together in support of more than 750 varsity student-athletes and another 500 students in our recreation programs by participating in the annual One Herd One Day 24-hour giving challenge.

The last year has been challenging. Through it all, our community has shown remarkable strength, compassion and resiliency by working together and supporting each other.

One Herd One Day is your opportunity to support students by giving to your favorite varsity sport, club sport or athletics' area of greatest need (Bison Athletics Fund for Excellence). If you are in a position to assist our teams, we respectfully ask you to make a gift during the giving challenge. When you do, you provide resources that shape championship experiences.

We're asking the Bison Nation to come together because we need you. Your financial support is imperative to our commitment to our students and their holistic experience at Bucknell. We truly need your support in order to continue to provide opportunities for our students to become champions in the classroom, on the playing fields and in the community.

We are grateful for the support of our alumni, parents, fans and friends. Last year we raised just shy of $1 million on behalf of our programs from 2,687 generous donors. Let's see what one herd – our herd – can do in one day this year.
