LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Even though Bucknell men's and women's basketball fans won't be able to physically come together and cheer on the teams when the season starts on Jan. 2, that doesn't mean you won't still have an opportunity to have your presence felt in Sojka Pavilion this season.
Â
Bison fans can help "fill" Sojka Pavilion by donating $200 for a virtual season ticket. Two-, three- and four-packs are also available at discounted rates. A portion of your purchase price, depending on the benefits you choose, will be considered a tax-deductible gift to the Bucknell men's and women's basketball programs.
Â
Virtual season ticket benefits include:
Virtual season tickets are not required to obtain a fan cutout. If you wish to simply purchase a fan cutout, visit https://shop.fancutouts.com/products/bucknell-university-fan-cutouts.
Â
Please note, in the event of the shortening or cancellation of the basketball season, no refunds will be offered. Your purchase will still be counted as a tax deductible gift to the basketball program. Also note that by participating in the virtual season ticket program, this does not affect your season ticket status for the 2021-22 Bucknell basketball season.
Â
The Bison men and women are slated to play a modified 16-game, conference-only schedule, with games played on Saturdays and Sundays. The Bucknell men open the season at Navy on Saturday, Jan. 2, while the women host the Mids that day. The teams will then swap sites on Sunday, Jan. 3, with the men playing Navy at home and the women in Annapolis.
Â
The Patriot League's digital streaming package moves to ESPN+ this season. For just $5.99 a month (or $49.99 per year), ESPN+ subscribers will get hundreds of live Patriot League sporting events, including men's and women's basketball, along with thousands of live events and original programming not available on ESPN's linear TV or digital networks, as well as the full library of 30 for 30 documentaries and ESPN Films.
Â
As in past years, a selection of regular-season games, along with the Patriot League Tournament semifinals and championship game, will be picked up by CBS Sports Network. The CBS SN schedule will be announced soon.
