About the Bison

• Bucknell is 1-1 in the Patriot League after defeating Lafayette and falling to Lehigh last weekend.

• Sophie Bullard leads the team in both kills (150) and digs (205) this season. The senior posted 15 kills and 17 digs in the win over Lafayette to pick up her seventh double-double of the season.

• Senior Mimi Richards has posted double-digit kills in each of the last three matches and is second on the team behind Bullard with 142. Richards is sporting a .316 hitting percentage for the season, which is third-best in the league, and has a team-high 49 total blocks.

• Freshman Kelsey O'Loughlin was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday for the fourth time this season. O'Loughlin's 10.61 assists per set lead the Patriot League and rank fifth among freshman in the NCAA. Her 17 service aces are also a team-high.

• Anna Carroll registered 20 kills last weekend and is third on the roster in the category. The junior is also second in blocks with 26.

• Senior Libero Brooke Stark averages 4.32 digs per set, which is fourth in the league.

• Bucknell sits at second in the league with a .236 hitting percentage, just behind American. Six times this season the Bison have posted a hitting percentage above .250.

• Bucknell also leads the Patriot League in kills per set and digs per set.

Scouting Loyola

• Loyola opened Patriot League play at 1-1 after sweeping Holy Cross, then losing 3-0 to Colgate. The team is also 4-1 when playing at home this season.

• The Greyhounds sit right behind Bucknell in assists per set with 12.34

• Sophomore libero Katie Forsythe sits atop the league in digs, averaging 5.61 per set. Forsythe earned a Patriot League Player of the Week award in September after recording the 1,000th dig of her career.

• Sophomore Abby Hamilton, who received a Player of the Week award two weeks ago, has three double-doubles on the year and has recorded 20 kills two times this season.

•Like the Bison, Loyola has a freshman starting at the setter position. Ashley Dwyer averages 9.37 assists per set, which ranks fifth in the league. Dwyer won Rookie of the week two weeks ago.

Series History with Loyola

• Bucknell is 15-9 all-time against the Greyhounds and are 5-4 in matches played in Baltimore.

• The Bison split the series 1-1 against Loyola in 2018, including a 3-2 win in the season finale. Bullard led the Bison with 13 kills and six block assists in that one.

Scouting American

• American has opened Patriot League play 1-1 after falling 3-1 at Colgate, then defeating Army by the same score in New York.

• American leads the league in hitting percentage (.245) and is second to only Bucknell with 13.44 kills per set. The Eagles also sport a league-best 2.07 service aces per set.

• The Eagles are led by junior Helena Elbaek, whose 3.83 kills per set rank second in the league. Elbaek posted a career-high 34 kills against Hartford earlier in the year.

• Freshman Onuchi Ndee is second on the team in total kills and has maintained a .365 hitting percentage this season. Ndee also leads the team with 38 total blocks.

• Junior Chiara Bosetti is eleventh in the nation with 30 service aces, while senior Jeanne Westney is tied for 19th with 27.

• American leads the all-time series 46-1, dating back to 1989.

• Mimi Richards totaled 17 kills in the two meetings with the Eagles last season.}
