UPDATE -- TRAVEL ADVISORY: Road Closure Near Lewisburg

8/17 UPDATE -- Route 15 is now open in both directions at the site of the crane accident. Lane closures are possible, however, so travelers are encouraged to allow for extra time passing through the area.

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- For those traveling to campus for the opening weekend of the 2018 Bucknell Athletics season, please be advised that one of the major thoroughfares south of Lewisburg -- Route 15 -- is closed in both directions between Route 304 in Winfield, Union County, and Route 11 in Monroe Township, Snyder County, due to a crash involving a crane. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), the road could remain closed for several days. More information from PennDOT is available here.

While an alternate route is clearly marked, please be aware that this could cause significant delays for those traveling to campus from southern locations. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
