Bison Men Win Two More Events on Saturday

LEWISBURG, Pa. - After a record-breaking performance at the Bucknell Tune-Up, senior Joseph Breen has been named Fifth Quarter Fresh Bison Athlete of the Week.

In the final meet before the upcoming Patriot League Indoor Championships, Breen set the school record in the shot put, recording a toss of 56-7 ¼, smashing the previous mark of 55-8 ¼ set by Luke Webster in 2013. Breen now owns the top indoor and outdoor marks for the event.

Bucknell will travel to Boston, Massachusetts, for the three-day league championships, beginning on Friday. Sunday's portion of the meet will broadcast on the Patriot League Network, as the Bison look to capture their first indoor title since 2012.
