Women's Basketball Places Five on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell women's basketball team put forth a strong academic showing during its 2013-14 campaign, placing five student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Senior Shelby Romine, who was also selected to the Academic All-Patriot League team, highlighted the quintet with her third consecutive selection to the squad, while juniors Audrey Dotson, Katherine Harris and Tara Wilk also became three-time honorees.
This year's honor roll is comprised of 66 student-athletes representing the league's ten women's basketball programs. Lehigh led the way with its 12 selections, followed by American (9), Colgate (8), Loyola (7), Army (6), Holy Cross (6), Boston University (5), Bucknell (5), Lafayette (5) and Navy (3).
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
