Bison student-athletes involved in Naval Academy Leadership Conference, APPLE Conference
Alex Robles joined the Bison staff as an NCAA compliance assistant in 2008, and in August 2011 received a promotion to assistant athletics director for compliance and student services.
She earned her bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University in December 2006 and 18 months later received her master's degree in sports management.
During her final year at Northern Illinois, Robles was an intern in the compliance office. She also spent five years as a facility supervisor, service counter attendant and weight room attendant under the jurisdiction of recreation services.
A member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Robles was an administrative assistant in Consolidated School District 158 in Huntley, Ill., for six years.
Robles also had a one-year tour of duty as an assistant softball coach in the Huntley Park School District in 2006.
