Bison Women's Tennis Nets Nine Patriot League Academic Honor Roll Selections

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell women's tennis led the Patriot League with nine Academic Honor Roll selections, it was announced on Tuesday. Claudia Silvers (Hartford, Conn./Kingswood Oxford School) was one of four student-athletes in the conference to post a perfect 4.0 grade-point average during the spring semester.
Bucknell's nine honorees was the most of any other school in the league. Colgate was second with seven. In total, 42 student-athletes earned Academic Honor Roll recognition.
Silvers' 4.0 GPA was the best among Bison. It was the sophomore Spanish major's second citation to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. Elizabeth Morgan (Charlottesville, Va./St. Anne's-Belfield School) also earned her third honor, while Christie Schneider (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Warde) claimed her second.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must achieve a 3.2 grade-point average in the spring semester.
