Bucknell Volleyball Places 11 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell volleyball placed a total of 11 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league announced on Thursday. The Bison were led by Katie Price (Los Angeles, Calif./Harvard-Westlake) and Jessica Serrato (Millbrae, Calif./Saint Ignatius College Prep), who posted a team-high grade-point average of 3.91 in the fall semester.
With 11 selections, Bucknell tied with American for second in the Patriot League in terms of total honorees. Only Lehigh had more with 13. The Patriot League recognized a total of 71 volleyball student-athletes for their academic success during the fall semester and only Navy's Erin Fortner posted a 4.00 GPA or better.
With the honor, Serrato has now been recognized by the conference twice this year. The junior management major was also voted to the Academic All-Patriot League Team in November.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must achieve a 3.2 grade-point average in the fall semester.
