Bucknell Athletics Promotes Fan Interaction through Social Media, Contests

LEWISBURG, Pa. - With the start of the 2011-12 season, Bucknell Athletics reminds its fans of the long list of multimedia options for following their favorite Bison teams. Fans can stay up to date on games, promotions, trivia and more through the Bucky Bison Facebook page, Twitter and BucknellBison.com, complete with Bison Vision, Gametracker, online auctions and more.
New this year to Bucky Bison's Facebook page will be more trivia and contests. First up is a Football Fan Photo Contest. Fans are encouraged to take photos at this Saturday's football game against Duquesne and submit them to the Facebook album by emailing reh039@bucknell.edu. Users can then vote for their favorite photo, with the image receiving the most "Likes" at the end of the week winning a Bucknell football t-shirt.
