PHILADELPHIA – Bucknell men's track and field ended its showing at the Penn Relays on a high note, earning top-five finishes in two relays on Friday. The Bison's 4x400 relay placed third, while the shuttle hurdle relay took fourth at Franklin Field.
The 4x400 relay ran one of the fastest times this season, crossing the line in 3 minutes, 18.43 seconds. The squad was made up of Gregory Baxter (Binghamton, N.Y./Chenango Valley), Dan Mularz (Englishtown, N.J./Freehold Township), Clement Gyan (Yonkers, N.Y./Abraham Lincoln) and Robert Arent (New Providence, N.J./New Providence).
Arent also had a hand in the shuttle hurdle relay's fourth-place finish. He joined Andrew Yehl (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown), Andrew Powell (Charleton, Mass./St. John's) and Sean Coyne (Freehold, N.J./Freehold Township) for a time of 58.92 seconds.
