
Bucknell Men's Golf Finishes T-12th at C&F Bank Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Andrew Cohen (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Mamaroneck) fired a 2-over-par 73 to lead Bucknell to a team score of 305 on the second and final day of the C&F Bank Intercollegiate at the Kingsmill Resort. The Bison finished in a tie for 12th place with Georgetown in the 22-team field.
Also for Bucknell, Brian Bartow (Rye, N.Y./Rye Neck) posted his second straight 76, Ryan Schneiter (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) shot 77, Ben Mattingly (Fishers, Ind./Park Tudor) followed up his opening-round 73 with a 79, and Dan Bernard (Malvern, Pa./Malvern Prep) finished with an 82.
The Bison finished just three strokes out of eighth place in the tightly bunched field. Missouri finished with a tournament-best 287 to win the team title by seven shots over host William & Mary. Maryland, Rutgers, Towson and DePaul rounded out the top five.
Missouri's Jace Long was 3-under for the tournament and won the individual title by two shots over Justin Martinson of Delaware and Conor O'Brien of William & Mary.
The Bison will be back in action next weekend at the Monmouth Invitational.
