LEWISBURG, Pa. - The second edition of Bison Magazine, a feature-heavy video segment on Bison Vision, is now available. Included in the second of three shows expected to be produced during the 2009-10 academic year are an interview with Patriot League Executive Director Carolyn Schlie Femovich and features on the Bison softball team's fundraising efforts and the community involvement of the men's basketball and wrestling squads.
The nine-minute Bison Magazine video piece is available to be viewed free of charge by clicking on the link at the top of this release, the front page of BucknellBisonl.com, or through the Bison Vision All-Access player.
The interview with Femovich touches on the academic focus of the Patriot League, the success of the league and where the league is headed as it approaches its third decade.
The softball fundraising feature includes an interview with senior Shelly McCormack and highlights the program's bi-annual Sneaker Sale that serves as the program's chief way of balancing its budget.
The men's basketball and wrestling teams were among many Bison squads that volunteered in the community this fall and their efforts are featured in the final piece. The men's basketball team served Thanksgiving dinner at the Donald Heiter Community Center, while the wrestlers volunteered their time at a local church.
Bison Magazine is expected to air on Bison Vision three times this year - once in the fall, once in the winter and once in the spring. Highlight and interview packages, as well as live games, will continue to appear on Bison Vision on a regular basis.
