LEWISBURG, Pa. - For the fourth consecutive year the Bucknell softball team led the Patriot League in Academic Honor Roll selections as 15 Bison were recognized on Monday. Bucknell's 15 honorees represented one-third of the 45 players cited by the league office.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's six winter or 10 spring championship sports.
Highlighting the Bucknell list were sophomore Jessie Snyder and junior Lauren Trosch, who each earned perfect 4.0 grade-point averages this past spring. Only three other Patriot League softball players had GPAs of 4.0 or higher and the Bison were the only team to have multiple 4.0s.
