Bucknell Softball Hosts Summer Clinics

LEWISBURG, Pa. – As Bucknell softball's season nears its end, the team is gearing up for its summer clinics. The Bison will host a two-day session for beginner and intermediate players Saturday-Sunday, June 13-14. A two-day Elite Clinic for those looking to play college-level softball will be held Saturday-Sunday, August 15-16. Both clinics will take place at the Bucknell Softball Field.
At the Bucknell University Two-Day Clinics, participants will receive the training and attention they need to advance their skills and prepare for a competitive softball environment. They will be trained by the Bucknell coaching staff, as well as several of the top Bison players. Once at the clinic the participants will attend skill and training sessions.
Please see the registration forms for more information. Registration forms for the beginner and intermediate clinic must be received by Friday, May 29. Those interested in the elite clinic should return their registration forms by Monday, July 27.
Through the end of the 2009 regular season, the Orange and Blue were 18-30 overall and 9-11 in the Patriot League, earning them the No. 3 seed in the league's tournament. Play in the double-elimination tournament begins Thursday, May 7 and concludes Saturday, May 9 at Lehigh's Kaufman Field. Bucknell will first face No. 2 Colgate at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
