Bucknell Men's Golf Opens with 316 at William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Pa. -- Andrew Cohen (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Mamaroneck) shot a 6-over-par 77 to lead Bucknell on the first day of the First Market Bank Intercollegiate, hosted by William & Mary at the Kingsmill Resort. The Bison started slowly as a team and shot 316, the second-highest score in the 22-team field.
Also for Bucknell, Ben Mattingly (Fishers, Ind./Park Tudor) shot 78, Brian Bartow (Rye, N.Y./Rye Neck) posted a 79 and Patrick Morsches (Alpharetta, Ga./Marist School) shot 82.
Liberty posted an even-par 284 team total on Monday to take a one shot lead over Campbell. Temple is eight back at 292.
Five players are 1-under par and tied for the individual lead, with six more at even par and 33 within four shots of the lead.
The second and final round will get underway at 8 a.m. Tuesday on the River Course at Kingsmill.
