Bucknell Men's Golf Places 13th at GW Invitational

BETHANY BEACH, Del. -- Andrew Cohen (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Mamaroneck) shot his second straight 76 on Saturday and the Bison men's golf team finished 13th out of 22 teams at the George Washington Invitational at Bear Trap Dunes GC.
Bucknell shot 318-316 over the two-day tournament. Rhode Island rode a final-round 292 to a four-shot win over Longwood.
Cohen tied for 16th place with his 36-hole total of 152. Ben Mattingly (Fishers, Ind./Park Tudor) was the only other Bison with two rounds in the 70s. Mattingly shot 79-76 and tied for 34th.
Also for Bucknell, Brian Bartow (Rye, N.Y./Rye Neck) shot 80-82, Patrick Morsches (Alpharetta, Ga./Marist School) shot 83-82 and Brian Poe (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Gilmour Academy) had rounds of 86-82.
Justin Martinson of Delaware was 1-over for the tournament and earned the individual title by one shot over Mark Stevens of Rhode Island and Brandon Rukin of George Washington.
Bucknell will be back in action on Monday and Tuesday at the First Market Bank Intercollegiate at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
