About Sunday's Match at American
Bucknell will look to get back on the winning side of things Sunday at American. The Bison have lost three of their last four matches and now stand at 9-9 overall and 3-3 against EIWA competition. Bucknell is 2-2 on the road this season with the two losses coming to No. 1 Iowa and No. 7 Lehigh. American, which is listed first in the also receiving votes category of the USA Today/Intermat/NWCA poll, is 11-4 this year and 4-1 against the EIWA. The Eagles, who host Maryland Saturday night at Bender Arena, have won four of their last five duals. Sunday's match will be American's final one of the regular season.

Last Outing
Bucknell wrestled its seventh ranked opponent of the season last Friday night when it traveled to No. 7 Lehigh. The Bison were tied with the Mountain Hawks at 12-12 following the 174-pound match. However, Lehigh posted wins by major decision, pin and forfeit at the three heaviest weight classes.
Ranked Opponents
Bucknell has faced seven ranked opponents this season and is 0-7 in those matches. It marks the second consecutive year the Bison have wrestled at least five ranked teams. The Bison are a solid 9-2 against unranked foes.
.500 Record in Conference
With a win against American, Bucknell will guarantee itself at least a .500 record against EIWA competition for the third consecutive year. The Bison have a 10-10-1 mark opposite EIWA foes since the resumption of the program prior to the 2006-07 season.
Success vs. EIWA
Andy Rendos and Derek Reber will be putting their perfect records against EIWA competition on the line Sunday at American. Both Bison are 6-0 in EIWA duals, while Rendos owns a career 19-2 record in EIWA duals.
Common Opponents
Bucknell and American have six common opponents this season. Both squads have faced Brown, Central Michigan, Columbia, Drexel, Franklin & Marshall and Navy. The Bison are 4-2 against those opponents, while the Eagles are 5-1. The only different result was American defeating Navy in a close match, while the Bison lost a tight one to the Midshipmen.
Starting Lineups
Bucknell has utilized 14 different starting lineups in its 18 dual matches this season. Two weeks ago against No. 1 Iowa and Columbia Bucknell used the same starting lineup in back-to-back matches for the first time since late November. If Nathan Jones starts at 197 against American it will be the 15th lineup used, but if Rob Waltko earns the nod, then it will be a repeat of the lineup from last Friday's match at Lehigh.
Top 10
Both David Marble and Andy Rendos now appear among the top 10 in Bucknell history in victories. Rendos stands eighth in program history with 78 wins, while Marble is ninth with 73. Additionally, Rendos, who is 20-1 against unranked opponents this year, ranks sixth in program annals with a .780 career winning percentage.
Closing in on Pins List
Andy Rendos recently recorded his seventh pin of the year (vs. Columbia), upping his career total to 18. He is now just one pin shy of tying Robert Greenly, Doug Mays and Gene Santoli for 10th on the Bison career list. Only one Bucknell grappler (Brian Pitzer) has joined the list since 1995.
Up Next
Bucknell, which is in the midst of a three-match road trip to end the season, will wrap up the regular season next Friday, Feb. 20, at East Stroudsburg. The Bison are 15-7 all-time against the Warriors, including a 28-9 win last year in Lewisburg.
