Bucknell Men's and Women's Tennis Matches At Bloomsburg Cancelled

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's and women's tennis teams were set to play a match at Bloomsburg, Wednesday at 6 p.m., however the match has been cancelled due to rain. No make-up date has been announced. The Bison women were scheduled to close out their season against Bloomsburg, and the men were prepared to play their last regular season match against the Huskies, before traveling to the Patriot League Tournament this weekend, April 25-27, at Colgate.
Bucknell women's tennis hosted Delaware, Tuesday afternoon, for Senior Day, falling by a score of 5-2, to bring the Orange and Blue to a record of 9-11 overall and 4-2 in Patriot League play this season. The Bison traveled to Army this past weekend for the Patriot League tournament, facing the Black Knights in the championship match for the fourth-straight season and falling by a score of 4-3, for a second-place finish.
The Bison men also fell to Delaware on Senior Day, 5-2, bringing Bucknell to 10-9 overall and 3-2 in regular season league play.
The Bucknell men's tennis team is now prepared to travel to Hamilton, N.Y., this weekend for the league tournament. The Bison are scheduled to face Lehigh in the first round. Bucknell will take on the Mountain Hawks on Friday, April 25, at 12:30 p.m.
