Bucknell Men's and Women's Tennis Matches Against Fairleigh Dickinson Cancelled

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's men's and women's tennis matches against Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday, March 21, have been cancelled due to low temperatures and will not be rescheduled.
The Bison were originally set to have a two-match week against Fairleigh Dickinson at home on Tuesday afternoon and against Villanova on the road, Wednesday afternoon. Both matches were cancelled due to rain. The Fairleigh Dickinson match was rescheduled for Friday, March 21, but now will not be played. The women's match at Villanova has been rescheduled for Monday, March 31, and the men's match has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 2.
An additional change to the schedule made this week, is that both the men's and women's matches against Mount St. Mary's will be played at home at Bucknell's Varsity Tennis Courts on March 25, instead of in Emmitsburg, Md.
The Bucknell men's tennis team is currently 6-3 on the season and is on a four-match winning streak. Most recently, the Orange and Blue played in Hilton Head, S.C., for spring break, and picked up a 6-1 win over Robert Morris on March 10, a 7-0 win over Southern Indiana on March 12, and a 7-0 win over Winston-Salem State on March 14. The Bison women are 4-5 on the season and have won their past three consecutive matches. In Hilton Head, S.C., for spring break, the Orange and Blue defeated Northwestern (Minn.), 7-0, on March 11, and Winston-Salem State, 7-0, on March 14.
Up next for the Bison, both the men's and women's teams are now set to play Mount St. Mary's at home on March 25. The matches will begin at 3 p.m.
