Bucknell Women's Tennis Finishes Cornell Invitational

ITHACA, N.Y. - The Bucknell women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Cornell Invitational on Sunday with sophomore Carlin Calcaterra (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale Central) and senior Caitlin Baffa (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills High School East) playing in the consolation bracket of Flight B singles and Flight C singles, respectively.
Calcaterra faced Anastasiia Rukavshykova of Temple, falling 6-0, 4-6, 11-9, after being defeated in the first round by Danielle Shapiro of Binghamton, 6-2, 6-4, in the first round on Saturday.
Baffa fell, 6-0, 6-0, to Robie Vemono of Army after being defeated in the first round by Weatherly Schwab of Cornell, 6-0, 6-2, on Saturday.
The Bison are now set to take on Duquesne at home on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m.
