LEWISBURG, Pa. - Seven members of the Bucknell women's tennis team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Tuesday. That figure was the most in the league, one more than Lehigh and American, which each had six.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
Four of the seven Bison players earned a GPA of at least 3.5 to also land on the University's Dean's List.
Elsewhere around the league, Lafayette had five players cited, while Army and Colgate placed two players each on the Honor Roll.
Overall, Bucknell paced the Patriot League with 215 total student-athletes earning positions on the Honor Roll in the 14 winter/spring sports the league recognizes.
